We make Berlin's fountains flow
since 1998
We are committed to treasuring the cityscape: Wall AG is taking charge of more than 75 fountains. We ensure the operation, maintenance and cleaning of fountains in the municipal districts Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Pankow and Spandau. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the municipal districts, the citizens of Berlin enjoy rushing fountains which provide spots of recreation and contribute to the amelioration of the city's climate.
Start of the fountain season
In April, the city's fountains spring back to life, an event traditionally celebrated with the switching-on of the fountain on Victoria-Luise-Platz. The reservoirs and sources on Breitscheidplatz, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Wittenbergplatz, Adenauerplatz and Henriettenplatz are soon to follow. Within two weeks all fountains throughout the city are up and running.
Tasks of our service employees
Before the fountains return to life, our service employees have to fulfill numerous tasks to awaken them from their winter's sleep: - technical check-up of all fountains - renovation of the fountain's basins - test and maintenance of pumps, nozzles and motors - spring cleaning on the landmarked Viktoria-Luise-Platz: cleaning of the colonnades and fountain, removal of graffiti and debris from the site
