A cellphone-like information terminal: Together with the governor of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, Wall presents in Berlin its new innovation in digital information systems. This column with a touchscreen is a platform for tourist and city information, which could be build freestanding or integrated in street furniture like bus shelters.
In July Wall AG changes its corporate form to a limited company. After a merger of Wall AG with the corporate parent JCDecaux Germany the new company was renamend in Wall GmbH. The Headquarters are located in Berlin. For JCDecaux SA it is a strong commitment to the brand Wall.
Wall continues the expansion of digital advertising panels in public space. After Hamburg and Cologne in 2015 the company now owns digital panels in Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Berlin and Leipzig, which are all in all 267 advertising spaces. Now is a full national net of digital panels in Germany available for customers and their brand communications.
Relating to the bus shelter contract in Leipzig Wall and the municipality sign a interim agreement for the management of street furniture until 30th June 2019. Therefore the advertising concession managed by JCDecaux continues. All inhabitants of Leipzig can rely on the further existence of modern and clean bus shelters.
