Since 2006, Germany's largest permanent Bluetooth network is available to customers of Wall AG at 70 highly frequented advertising locations in Berlin. It offers an attractive addition to classical poster advertising. Information, sound files, and images can be sent effortlessly to customer's mobile phones, provided that passers-by have activated the Bluetooth interface of their mobile phone and agree to the download.
Under the headline "Interactive Citizen's Services", Wall AG brings online further of its partner cities. Following Berlin, the internet portal bluespot is now set up in Freiburg and Dortmund. At multi media terminals located in bus shelters, at advertising pillars, and city information panels, users are offered free bluespot access. Through bluespot customers have access to the internet as well as to city information. Information can be downloaded to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, or obtained as a text message.
At Berlin's Brandenburger Tor, Wall AG presents the Wall showtruck, which is bound to display the Intelligent Series, one of the most modern interactive street furniture families, in front of town halls all over the world.
Wall has invested 750,000 euros in the refurbishment and modernisation of the subterranean public lavatories at Breitscheidplatz, where the two popular high streets Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße meet. Highlights are a state-of-the-art air conditioning, high quality materials, and a distinguished interior design.
Since the mid-nineties, Wall AG is the first German outdoor advertiser to be active in the Turkish megacity of Istanbul, in 1998 introducing the City Light Poster format in Turkey. In 2006, a ten years contract between Wall and the city at the shores of the Bosporus is executed, worth an advertising turnover of about 100 m euros. Wall provides street furniure such as bus shelters, City-Toilets, and city information panels. In addition, Wall AG buys back the 40 per cent stake in its subsidiary held by Turkish construction company Enka. Wall Sehir Dizayni ve Ticaret Ltd.Sti is now a 100 per cent subsidiary of Wall group.
