ERGO Insurance Group breaks new ground in consultancy and outdoor advertising: From today, an ERGO insurance agent advises interested passers-by via a live hookup with a screen integrated into a City-Light-Poster provided by Wall AG. The special implementation takes place for one week in a waiting shelter at Breitscheidplatz in Berlin.
Patrick Fischer, product manager Innovate at WallDecaux Premium Outdoor Sales, Wall AG's sales division: "What is exceptional about this creative special implementation is that, for the first time in outdoor advertising, sound and vision are retrieved live. Via Skype, webcam and microphone, the insurance agent connects from his office directly to the 19" screen in the waiting shelter provided by Wall AG. Passers-by on location get the chance to address their insurance themed questions to him face to face, entering into a dialogue with the insurance agent on subjects like liability coverage, disability or travel insurance. This is a premiere in outdoor advertising."
The live consultancy runs 24 hours a day for one week. All in all, 17 of ERGO's insurance agents will take part in the live stream. A full wrapping of the waiting shelter at Berlin's Breitscheidplatz will draw additional attention to the special implementation. It is part of ERGO Insurance Group's new campaign and underlines its claim "Versichern heisst verstehen" (to insure means to understand). The special implementation was developed by creative agency Aimaq & Stolle Creative Brand Consulting GmbH with media agency Jost von Brandis.
