Berlin’s local outdoor advertising specialist DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH supports the 25 year jubilee of Ernst-Litfass-School on October 1st with a free poster campaign.
Success doesn’t come out of nowhere – this is the message of Ernst Litfass’ career as well as of the famous ‘Litfass’ advertising pillar which has made his name a household word in Germany. With the slogan “Success starts here . . .” hinting to the web presence of Ernst-Litfass-School, the college for printing- and media technique introduces itself to prospective students. To give an additional boost to the school’s image-campaign, DIE DRAUSSENWERBER besides free poster advertising spaces provide a permanent advertising display at Wittenau underground station.
Partnership between DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH and Ernst-Litfass-School was confirmed today by an agreement of cooperation which centres on three points: DIE DRAUSSENWERBER will offer traineeships for pupils of Ernst-Litfass-School to give on-the-job insight into sales and administrative work. In addition, employees of DIE DRAUSSENWERBER will lecture on marketing and advertising at the school. In return, Ernst-Litfass-School will support DIE DRAUSSENWERBER in fulfilling selected work orders. Regularly, students’ projects and visits to the premises of DIE DRAUSSENWERBER will be organized.
“We are glad to support Ernst-Litfass-School on its 25th jubilee. Both the school and our company have a common aim: to keep alive the spirit of Ernst Litfass and to educate competent junior staff for outdoor advertising”, Dr. Marc Bieling, managing director of DIE DRAUSSENWERBER, points out.
In January 2008, Berlin based DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH started local marketing of outdoor advertising spaces. Besides poster spaces on classical ‘Litfass’ advertising pillars, and at bus and tramway shelters, the company markets advertising spaces on the Berlin underground and pole mounted signs at streetlamps. Specialised local advertiser DIE DRAUSSENWERBER is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Wall AG which for some years now maintains the grave of E. Th. A. Litfass on ‘Dorotheenstädtischer Friedhof’ cemetery in the centre of Berlin.
