Today, international outdoor advertiser and street furniture provider Wall AG starts its summer roadshow, leading through three federal states of Germany. The specially branded showtruck begins its journey in Düsseldorf, visiting Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt/Main during a three weeks promotion tour. In the course of the roadshow, the innovations broadening Wall AG's 2009 advertising portfolio are presented to renowned media- and creative agencies.
Three topics are at the centre of the roadshow: Digital Signage – the future of outdoor advertising, RollAd – the innovative advertising medium on Germany's highways, and Creative Outdoor Advertising – highlights in the public space. For the event, the truck's semitrailer was equipped with a presentation lounge which can accommodate up to 12 visitors. The installation of high tech equipment has converted the truck's interior into a showroom, presenting the media community with an authentic picture of Wall AG's trends and innovations. Live presentations of RollAd, the new advertising medium on trucks, will offer an opportunity for agencies to learn about the merits of this advertising novelty.

With its "Digital Signage" pilot project, Wall AG inaugurates a new era of out-of-home marketing. For the first time, a complete underground station is declared 'paper-free zone' and fashioned exclusively with digital media. In Berlin Friedrichstrasse underground station, a mix of information, entertainment and advertising is displayed on electronic billboards and digital screens. A crucial advantage of digitalisation is the quick and flexible updating of advertising spaces. In the long run, the possibility of parallel booking leads to reduced advertising prizes, thus making digital advertising attractive for customers with smaller advertising budgets.
By offering creative outdoor advertising campaigns, Wall AG not only hints at the inventive potential of out-of-home marketing. In recent times, interest in creative poster campaigns has significantly risen. New customers are often attracted by an advertiser's creative portfolio. They are won over by the prospect of distinguishing themselves from competitors by means of catchy and memorable advertising campaigns.
RollAd is a quick-change mobile advertising system individually adapted to trucks. On a truck equipped with Rollad, motives and thus a complete branding can be changed within nine minutes. The use of large format canvasses replaces cost-intensive varnishing or pasting of foils on semitrailers.
