INTEL first customer for Wall AG'S digital advertising

Wall AG to open first underground station exclusively equipped with digital advertising spaces on July 08, 2010 in Berlin

Nine days to go until Berlin based outdoor advertiser and street furniture provider Wall AG launches its digital advertising spaces in the city's Friedrichstrasse underground station. 14 digital City Light Poster-showcases (d-CLP) at the accesses to the platform and 12 digital City Light Boards (d-CLB) as projections behind the tracks will allow advertising customers to shape the public space in the heart of the capital with a creative staging of brands. On the platform, two of Wall AG's bluespot terminals offer additional interactive possibilities to travellers. Thus, Friedrichstrasse emerges as the first exclusively digital underground station in the history of outdoor advertising. The first customer to capitalize on the exceptional impact of Wall AG's new advertising option will be Intel. During the whole of July, Intel is going to present its campaign "Wir machen morgen möglich" ("We make tomorrow happen") exploring the whole range of new digital advertising possibilities to exploit the location's strong target group potential.

Klaus Obermaier, Intel's head of marketing and communication for Germany and Austria: "Like Wall AG, Intel represents innovation, not only in technology, but also in marketing. Digitalized advertising combined with an outstanding location is an excellent platform to demonstrate this. For Intel, digital media are an essential element of marketing, because they enable interaction and emotion. This can be achieved impressively by digital outdoor advertising."

Daniel Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Wall AG: "We are glad that, with Intel, we succeeded to win an innovative advertising customer for the launch of our innovative product. Citizens and visitors will, from July 08, 2010, experience a completely new dimension of outdoor advertising in one of Berlin's liveliest underground stations. Friedrichstrasse underground is frequented by about 47,500 travellers daily: national and international business professionals, citizens of the capital, German and international tourists, students, or visitors to one of the great international fairs. In Berlin, there are few advertising locations attracting such a wide range of target groups. We have already verified this in the course of 'conventional' advertising campaigns in Friedrichstrasse underground station. Thus, it was logical to choose this location for the launch of our digital advertising media."

Wall AG's digital signage project will be inaugurated on July 08, 2010 in the presence of Berlin's Senator for Economy Harald Wolf and about 300 exclusively invited guests. The project resulted from nearly one and a half year of development work in close cooperation with Berlin's public transport services and the city's monuments authority.
