RollAd Convinces Advertisers: Michelin, Tank & Rast and Katjes Launch Nationwide Campaigns

Contract volume of more than 800,000 euros

Strong impetus for truck advertising: Three big brands – tire producer Michelin, service provider Tank & Rast and confectionery manufacturer Katjes have chosen RollAd as an advertising medium in current campaigns.

The three campaigns have a contract volume of more than 800,000 euros. All in all, about 500 trucks equipped with RollAd will cruise the national motorway-net for several weeks. Tank & Rast is already looking back to a successful RollAd campaign during the summer of 2009. The repeated booking underlines the efficiency of RollAd as an advertising medium. To bring advertising messages across, each RollAd semi-trailer offers more than 40 square metres of advertising space on its sides and back. By means of the flexible truck advertising, the driver affine brands roll directly into view of the sought-after target groups of frequent drivers and commuters.

Fritz Gruenewalt, managing director of trans-marketing GmbH, is enthusiastic about the secured advertising contracts: "The persistent demand shows that RollAd has hit a nerve in the advertising market."

Wall AG too takes a positive stance towards the joint achievements. Daniel Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Wall AG: "Our summer roadshow 2009, where RollAd featured prominently, has obviously sent out the right message. We are convinced that with the innovative medium RollAd we will be able to win over further brands, which up to now have not considered truck advertising."

RollAd was developed by trans-marketing GmbH and is since 2009 exclusively marketed by Wall AG. As announced in the beginning of this week, Wall AG, which since 2007 held a minority stake in the company, has increased its holding to more than 75 percent of shares.

With RollAd, advertising customers profit from the use of state-of-the-art trailer telematic. Michelin, Tank & Rast and Katjes can, for example, determine their respective target areas by means of a motorway-selection. Furthermore, the online portal "RollAd campaign" offers a maximum of transparency: RollAd customers are enabled to follow the truck routes of each campaign in real-time and are provided with campaign documentation, offering accurate data about achieved numbers of exposure on the motorway.
