The new Wall subsidiary company is the marketing centre for local outdoor advertising

At the beginning of the year the new 100% subsidiary of Wall AG, DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH, has started its marketing operations. The company established in November 2007 as a specialist in local outdoor advertising in Berlin has resulted from the process of integrating the former VVR Decaux GmbH into Wall AG.



"From now on DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH is in charge of marketing and managing the local advertising media of Wall AG in Berlin. Its broad product portfolio is most appealing to clients from the fields of art, culture and local retail, who have small media budgets available", says Daniel Wall, chairman of Wall AG, "The attractive price-performance ratio and excellent locations make the advertising areas of DRAUSSENWERBER a most convincing alternative to other media types. Over and above the company can implement its advertising clients' wishes quickly, easily and individually."



Besides poster areas on traditional advertising columns and in waiting shelters of bus or tram stations the new company also handles the marketing of advertising space in the underground system as well as on street lantern poles. The mother company, Wall AG, will remain in charge of marketing the City Light posters and large-format advertising spaces.



DIE DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH will increasingly combine local outdoor advertising with new, interactive media. For the advertising market in the German capital the young company is developing attractive offers available on bluespot, the digital customer and city information network, as well as special coupon posters. They allow users to download free discount vouchers or event offers from the poster directly to their mobile phones via an SMS code.



Dr. Marc Bieling has been appointed as managing director of DRAUSSENWERBER GmbH. He holds a doctorate in business administration and has been working with Wall since 2005. From now on the 33-year old leader of the headquarters of the new company in Berlin-Spandau is in charge of a team of more than 50 experiences workers dealing with poster gluing, erection and installation planning.
