Nokia rolls out the red carpet for customers at the Berlin film festival

Wall AG turns subway passengers into movie stars with digital outdoor advertising at the Friedrichstrasse subway station in Berlin

To walk the red carpet as a movie star, illuminated by the flashing cameras of the paparazzi… Wall AG is turning this dream into reality for subway passengers at the Friedrichstrasse subway station in downtown Berlin. As part of the upcoming Berlin film festival, Nokia is providing a unique and high-tech form of entertainment at one of Berlin’s central subway stations: Promotional teams are offering to photograph subway passengers using a Nokia smartphone. Thanks to an innovative face-mapping application developed by Wall AG in cooperation with Micromovie, the passenger portrait is uploaded and integrated into a film trailer that is shown seconds later on Wall AG’s digital advertising screens. The passenger can then be seen as a movie star walking the red carpet on a total of 26 displays throughout the subway station. This personalized red carpet experience will be offered until February 22 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Friedrichstrasse subway station. Additional information is available at www.nokia-smartphone.de. Wall AG is partnering with the Berlin film festival for the 11th time this year. Publicity is being raised for the 61st Berlin film festival with 130 mobile advertising display cases on and around Potsdamer Platz.
