Success for Wall AG in Northern Germany: After a Europe-wide tender process for the installation and marketing of street furniture, the Hanseatic City of Luebeck (more than 211,000 inhabitants) has selected Wall AG as best bidder. The Berlin based outdoor advertiser and street furniture provider was awarded all four portions of the contract he had tendered for. Wall AG will thus be partner to the city for the next 15 years. From 2012 onward, the company will market the outdoor advertising spaces in Luebeck and Travemuende.
Wall AG is going to thoroughly modernize both outdoor advertising and street furniture in the Hanseatic City. All in all, about 1,125 advertising spaces based on the product family Avenue (design: Staubach and Kuckertz) will be installed, including City Light Posters (CLP), backlit advertising pillars (CLS), City Light Boards (CLB), large format billboards and full and shared billboards. Furthermore, Wall AG will install 380 new bus stop shelters across the urban area, thus providing higher comfort for public transport passengers.
Daniel Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Wall AG, "We are glad that the competition for advertising rights in Luebeck has yielded a positive result for our company. We have won all four portions of the contract and will thus be able to optimally market the city over the forthcoming years. For the next 15 years, we will be a committed and dedicated partner to the Hanseatic City of Luebeck."
Following Muenster, Bremen and Wiesbaden, the Hanseatic City of Luebeck is the fourth of DSM's former shareholder cities which, in the course of a public tender process for advertising rights, has ended its longstanding partnership with Stroer/DSM.
