Today, Berlin-based street furniture supplier an outdoor advertiser Wall AG has started upgrading its digital City Light Boards (DCLB) in the German capital. Most of the existing one-sided digital displays will be replaced by a double-sided version. Soon, advertising messages on the displays will not only be visible from both directions of traffic, but newly installed LED-displays with 8mm pixel pitch and higher resolution will allow for an enhanced quality of presentation. All in all, advertising customers will have at their disposal a DCLB network consisting of 36 digital panels.
In the course of the installation of the double-sided DCLB units, Wall AG simultaneously enhances the performance of its digital billboards. All DCLBs will be equipped with new LED screens with 8mm instead of 10mm pixel pitch. The resulting higher resolution allows for an unprecedented readability of advertising messages and unique high-quality images on the advertising displays.
Daniel Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Wall AG: "By installing the double-sided DCLBs, we once more substantiate our position as the leading innovator of the outdoor advertising industry. In 2011, our DCLBs were the first digital advertising displays on public land. Today, we are proud to announce the expansion of this unique portfolio of premium digital advertising panels, which will offer our advertising customers even better possibilities to present their advertising messages."
The DCLB network in the German capital is available for booking with 36 advertising panels (full network) or 18 advertising panels (partial network).
At the same time, Wall AG is also expanding its portfolio of digital billboards on a national scale: At Nuernberg Airport, two regular DCLBs, one single- and one double-sided unit, are available. The displays are marketed by WallDecaux Premium Outdoor Sales or directly by Stadtreklame Nuernberg. At Duesseldorf Airport, Wall AG will install three additional DCLBs before the end of the year. Moreover, Wall AG acts as technology service provider for the new and unique LED Motion Drive at Gemany's largest airport Frankfurt/Main, consisting of five large-format LED billboards along the approach road to Terminal 1, marketed exclusively by Media Frankfurt.
