Wall to cooperate with betterplace.org

Outdoor advertiser launches image campaign to support charity portal

Today, Wall AG and the founders of betterplace.org sealed their cooperation by inaugurating a nationwide image campaign in support of the charity portal. On Berlin Friedrichstrasse, Daniel Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Wall AG, together with Till Behnke and Dr. Joana Breidenbach, founding members and partners of betterplace foundation, unveiled the first of 3,000 posters donated by Wall AG for the internet platform's campaign.

"betterplace catches the spirit of the age and takes the charity sector into the 21 Century. The portal offers a transparent, interactive and direct medium for social commitment. 100% of donations are forwarded, and donators can track the way of individual contributions to their intended targets – that's simple, open and efficient", Daniel Wall comments.

Charity projects from all over the world or from the immediate neighbourhood are to be found on betterplace.org. Projects may be supported by financial or in-kind donations, volunteer work or know-how. Today, the charity portal has more than 1,000 projects in 95 countries and has gathered an online community of 15,000 participants including 100 companies. Since its foundation in 2007, betterplace.org has generated donations worth about 900,000 euros.

Wall AG now joins in collecting donations online for projects of "Denk mal an Berlin e.V.", a registered charity for monuments protection, as well as for the education promotion project "rechenfix & wortgewandt" ("quick with numbers and clever with words"). Over the last five years, Wall has supported Jens-Nydahl-Elementary School in Berlin Kreuzberg, where the education project provides remedial classes in mathematics and German for 60 pupils. With the help of donations via betterplace 60 additional places shall be created.
