There is growing demand for broadband internet in urban areas for video and audio streaming and many different apps. We have recognised these needs and are developing intelligent solutions to meet them. bluespot Free WiFi is one of these. It involves fitting out our street furniture with the latest network technology, integrated in such a way that it remains invisible from the outside. The wifi network technology and our app have both been developed in-house at Wall GmbH. They make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life in our public urban spaces.
The future of urban communication is beginning now in Düsseldorf
With the official launch on September 3, the staged introduction of a Wall wifi network in Düsseldorf began. At present, inhabitants and tourists can use the free wifi at 32 locations in the city. At total the bluespot net will have 50 bluespot Free WiFi hotspots. The locations have been chosen to cover the most highly-frequented zones within the city. Free and no time limit
You can surf at the bluespot Free WiFi hotspots for free, at high speeds and for as long as you like. Whether you’re out for a leisurely walk in the pedestrian zone, sitting relaxed in a café or meeting friends downtown: high-speed internet is now always available at the hotspots. You can recognise the locations thanks to our ‘bluespot Free WiFi’ symbol – which is, of course, blue!

- With bluespot Free WiFi you can surf the internet without worrying about time limits or data volumes – whether you want to use the service for 30 minutes or 2 hours.

User-friendly access
In 3 easy steps
1. Activate the wifi option on your device.
2. Select the network “bluespot” (you have to be within the range of a bluespot Free WiFi hotspot).
3. Register once with your contact details (registered users simply log in easily and quickly with their username and password).

All-in-one service
Once the wifi technology is installed in our street furniture, we also take care of the service, repair and maintenance. Furthermore, we accept notifications of technical problems around the clock and answer questions relating to the wifi. Specially trained staff are available on-location to ensure that the wifi hotspots operate smoothly.
