Düsseldorf, one of Germany's economically strongest major cities, is a hub for fashion, advertising, art, and culture. Since the mid-1980s, Wall GmbH has maintained a partnership with the state capital and the Rheinbahn AG public transportation supplier. Today, our bus stop shelters, recycling boxes, wheelchair-accessible automatic public toilets, city information panels, automatic public urinals, and directional systems enhance the quality of life in Düsseldorf's public spaces. Developed specially for Düsseldorf in 2000, the design line Avenue is a range of dateless, modern street furniture that perfectly match the city's character. Since 2006, our electronic city information panels keep residents and visitors throughout the old city centre up to date on cultural events, sights, public transportation schedules, and other interesting offers.
Which bus takes me to the Kunsthalle museum? What is playing at the Schauspielhaus? Where should we dine tonight? What's going on in Düsseldorf? Find answers to these and many more questions on the bluespot terminals integrated in the modern city information panels that Düsseldorf and Wall GmbH installed on the famous boulevard "Kö" and throughout the old city centre. Tourists and Düsseldorfers can find cultural programs, shopping tips, event schedules, city maps and much more on these ingenuous info stations.
Düsseldorf International is the central air traffic hub in the Rhine-Ruhr region and the third-largest airport in Germany. Since 2003, Wall has been the outdoor advertising partner for the airport. To win this partnership we developed advertising panels that matched the overall concept "squaring the shape". Since 2008, we also offer City Light Boards at Düsseldorf International.
We support cities and metropolises in their municipal marketing efforts with customized street furniture solutions that meet the requirements of urban developers, citizens, and their cities.
Municipal marketing
Cities receive Wall street furniture free of charge. In turn, we market the advertising space to refinance our products. Take a look at our business model to find out how exactly this works.
